PROBUS is planning a tour of the Niagara Parks Power Station for October 20 at 1:00 pm.  We will have a guided tour through the power station and the tunnel.  Group tour rates are $34.20 + tax for 20 or more people.  $38 + tax if less than 20.

The Power Station is packed with installations, exhibits and artifacts. The new tunnel experience takes guests beneath the main generating floor in a glass-panelled elevator, which reveals the underground infrastructure of the power station as they descend 180 feet below the ground level.

The tunnel includes six exhibits that take guests through the plant’s century-long history. After perusing the exhibits, guests can experience a view from the edge of the Niagara River that few people have seen before.

Call or email Dave Merritt or Herb Woods to register for the tour as soon as possible.  Spouses, guests, partners are welcome.  We need to know the number of attendees by Oct. 12 to book the tour.   Payment is in advance when we know if we have 20 attendees.
