Past President, Wayne Tester, who was introduced by Andy Redman, presented a 30-minute video/slide travelogue he produced from pictures taken by his daughter Lynn and son-in-law Jim Miller during their trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.Wayne, who had made a similar trip a few years ago, also brought several items and crafts collected during his trip and explained some of the characteristics of each.Some facts about Ecuador: Population about 16.2 million, Official language Spanish, Capital city is Quito, and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1978. Their constitution is the first in the world to recognize the Rights of Nature or ecosystem rights. The Galapagos Islands are a part of Ecuador and are known for their rich ecology, hosting many endemic animals and plants.
