Our speaker this month was Lois Sarkisian, CAA manager of groups and tours. Lois talked about group travel and how to prepare for a trip. Her talk included travel tips, advice on using a registered travel agent (TICO), how to achieve great savings on tours by taking a reposition cruise, travel Europe in winter and cruise over the US Thanksgiving week. Current Hot Spots include Newfoundland and Labrador, Rocky Mountain Rail Tour and Churchill, MB, in Canada. In the US, New Orleans, Chicago, San Antonio and the coastal drive Seattle to San Francisco are popular. Europe offers Iceland, Italy and River cruising. Other popular destinations are New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and India and for a longer trip a World Cruise.

Next month will be our Annual General Meeting with the presentation and installation of the 2015-2016 management committee. There will be no guest speaker this month.
